TIPS ON HOW TO SUCCEED AS A FRESH STUDENT IN HIGHER INSTITUTION


       Before i start listing the things required to do as a fresh student in a higher institution,
i would strongly advice that, in all you do, put GOD first. Do not miss Church service or regularly going to the mosque. Infact make yourself useful by joining an arm or two. Many tips to succeed in school could come from there and you can get good network of friends there too.

   FIND THE LIST BELLOW
     1)      Attend all your lectures and be attentive. Don't miss a class

    2)      Copy notes and scribble down as much as you can. Develop them later.


    3)      Read your notes and textbook every day after school.

    4)      Get past questions a forehand and work with them.


    5)      Have a study schedule and be consistent with them.

    6)   Be smart, keep your ears on the ground so no information passes you by.   Relate with your colleagues and your seniors and get to learn a thing or two from them.


    7)      Avoid women and relationships. You don't need them now. Avoid alcohol and cigarette. They'll ruin your life.

    8)      Avoid company that is uninspiring to your educational life. Detest pessimists and people who have no value for their time.

 9) Look at career profiles on LinkedIn  in and try to relate with successful folks in the career path you're
            pursuing.

     10)   Create a career path- weigh the odds and the advantages and plan ahead.

  11) Apply for scholarships and give it your best shot. Don't spend wildly. Save.

  12) Invest in professional courses, seminars and conferences.


  13) Welcome to the top.


WARNING:  You could do socials if you have time for them. But not too much. A little here, a little there. There are scholarships for freshers. This is where your love for the internet would help you out. Keep Your
eyes and ears open. Please if you are a guy stay away from girls, they can ruin you and your career. Never you insult a lecturer or support a protest against a lecturer.
